Agriculture and Biology

My school is best known for its school spirit, biology program, agriculture program and our sports teams.

Fort Valley State University is well known for development and teaching styles. This school is always progressing whether it is with the classes or expansion. Also the classes are small which allow more one on one interacation among professors and students. The teaching styles of the professors are diverse even within the same class to provide fair learning for each individual student.

One of the things our school is best known for is our Blue Machine Marching Band.

Fort Valley State University is best known for their agriculture department. This school is one of two land-grant schools in Georgia. So, essentially everything revolves around the agriculture department. My major is veterinary science, which is a part of the agriculture department. Fort Valley State is also one of two schools in Georgia that have a Bachelor Science degree in veterinary science.
