I wish I would have known that you have to wait outside of the classroom until your class starts. I wish I would have known how much the books would cost. I wish I would have known if I would use those books. I wish I would have known the campus slightly better than I did. I was a bit lost, but I'm fine now. I wish I would have known how good the fried chicken was on wednesdays.

That the dorms are tiny and to go out and get involved in school activities and talk to people, dont be shy!

I felt that I was fully aware of everything that I needed to know prior to entering.

If I knew what I know now, I would have stayed focus on my school work and not hungout as much as I did. When I lost track of what I came to school for is when my grades started to sip and go down. Losing my life scholarship hit me hard when I had to take out a lot of loans just to continue my education. I would probably choose to go to a bigger school also. I know at a larger school there is more opportunity to get scholarships that I know I need.

Nothing, I already knew about Francis Marion Campus before attending because I have had relatives that attended this school.

I wish I would have know how hard my science classes would be. I would have tried harder in high school science classes.

I wish I would have known that school would be this hard. I have to work hours each night to keep up with my studies. I work on campus in student affairs and when im not busy with that it gives me time to study. I think alot of students drop out because they arnt aware of the difficulty of school and are not prepared for whats to come.

I wish I would have known that I had the option to apply for a 1-person dorm to avoid having a roomate.

I don't wish I would have learned anything. I know somtimes you would feel like you need to know what you are getting yourself into, but college is different. If you knew stuff before going into college then you won't have anything to look forward to. College is going to be, if you allow it, the best years of your life before you enter the real world so enjoy that experience. My experiences so far at Francis Marion University have been great but also learning experiences. Now, I can speak from them because I experienced it for myself.

The amount of scholarships that are awarded.

That there is nothing to do, and that there is not very much school spirit.

I wish I would have known to move on campus my first semester. It is much harder to get involved on campus as a commuter student than an on-campus student.

How hard it is to get out in four years.
