I love Franciscan University! I think that it is a great opportunity and investment for anyone who would like to attend here. You will meet solid people, solid faith and a lot opportunities!I've visited Franciscan University multiple times and every time I've gone I've wanted to immerse myself in the University.
Franciscan University has a fantastic environment. The students, faculty, and staff are all friendly and welcoming. We treat each other like family and have high respect for human dignity. While the city of Steubenville may be unsafe at times, campus is actually very safe at all times of the day. We also have a fantastic study abroad program at our campus in Austria.
Choosing Franciscan University has been one of the best decisions I've made in my life thus far. I have been challenged academically, spiritually, and physically in ways that have made me grow more than I thought possible in just two years. The student to faculty ratio is amazing, and almost all of the professors I have had at this university are incredibly intelligent and care about helping their students succeed. The only downfall to the university is that many of the dorms are small and without AC, and also there aren't many options in the cafeteria, compared to many universities that I've seen. Otherwise, I have loved my time at Franciscan and don't regret my decision one bit.
I am SO excited to be an incoming freshmen. My faith is the center of my life and that is how I can explain my experience of Franciscan. God is the purpose that this school exists and I am so excited to be a part of a community where people have the same values as me

I would probably tell myself not to worry. Looking back, I realize that my high school experience prepared me pretty well for college. The only thing that I might regret about back then is a lack of planning. If I could talk to myself as a senior in high school, I would remind myself to think about what comes after college. I love my maor, but my plans for afer graduation have never been very concrete. I wish I had planned better for real life. If I had it to do all over again, I would plan better.
Franciscan University of Steubenville is Academically Challenging and Passionately Catholic.
Some one who is passionately Catholic and looking for this type of environment. The academics are challenging and the professors are well learned in their subjects. The average student is a cradle Catholic who desires to live the fullest they can in the Faith. There is a high focus on mission trips, community service and involvment with spiritual social groups on campus. Most of the students are fans of praise and worship music and enjoy playing the guitar or singing along.
The lack of social diversity.
Franciscan University is academically challenging and passionately Catholic.
I love the faith environment and Catholic orthodoxy that is unique at Franciscan. Both of these elements make Franciscan a remarkable and extraordinary secondary institution.
A Catholic, caring person who wants to learn in a similar environment to one that they are comfortable in.
They are tremendously supportive of new students. They have a great program totally focussed on student retention and helping students accomplish what they want.
Most are very passionately catholic and friendly.
Theology Major and the Theology Grad program. Also it's study abroad program in Austria.
There is so much to do and I never seem to have enough time to do everything! I love that there's a large venue of activities but it's so hard to decide which to do and which not to do.
I brag about the history department. I love history and the department at Franciscan is fantastic and has everything I need for my double major in History and Political Science.
