Lillian - 07/13/2023

Franklin Pierce is a very good school, amazing professors and courses. There are small classes so you get to know everyone. Someone's always there to help, great resources. However, campus is outdated, furniture and buildings are very old, but beautiful outside.

Khiem - 11/10/2020

Overall, this university provides great educational knowledge in which every student(s) need to pursue the career and degree they want. Franklin Pierce University staffs and professors are extremely nice and intelligent so if you ever need assistance, they are there for you.

Entering into my 4th and last year at Franklin Pierce University, it feels more like home than just school. There are many perks to going to Franklin Pierce, the small class sizes, the ability to communicate with professors easily and having your professor know you on a first name basis since the classes are intimate. The campus is located on a beautiful lake so you feel like you are on vacation all of the time while still earning your degree. I love the atmosphere the university brings. Of course all University has their downfalls but that doesn't make them a bad university or not. I would recommend Franklin Pierce to perspective students.

Try to think hard about what you want to do and study, or at least get a vague idea. Work as hard as you can during your last few years of high school, and do the best you can on the SATs. Apply to those schools you like the best judging on: their focus on the field you want to study, location, and other important aspects. Visit your top choice schools. That we drink and smoke and hate the school. All can be true depending on the year and the student. Most party on the weekends but the older students aren't that into it. Freshman think the campus is new an exciting but by senior year you can't wait to leave it behind.

  13. What are the academics like at your school?

Teachers are good (most of them), but the school has a terrible academic reputation, so good luck finding work when you get out. Science resources are non-existent. Art program has good teachers and few resources. University president makes 300 times what most of the professors make teaching courses. Too many idiots in the classes. A third of your classes are standard 'core courses' that won't transfer to other schools. Most of your freshman and sophomore years will be filled with these courses, so good luck escaping this place, unless you are ready to start over. Writing center has good tutors, library has few books.

  15. What is your overall opinion of this school?

The school is run by thieves. Totally overpriced, the core curriculum courses (40 credits) will not transfer to other schools, so if you go here, you'll get stuck. Freshmen dorms are a firehazard. Power goes down several times every winter, so bring your sleeping bag. Teachers are good, administrators are liars. Student recruitment people will say anything to get you to come to the school. Don't believe a word. Run, don't walk away from them. Degree isn't worth the paper its printed on. No alumni I know has anything better than a retail job. A complete waste of time and money.
