The cost of Fresno City is a lt cheaper than most schools. As well there are a good amount of night and web classes which makes it easier to work and go to school.
In all honesty, I would not have chosen Fresno City College if not for their Leon S. Peters Honors Program. This program is fantastic, and as long as you keep a good grade point average, there are so many perks involved. Students can be first to pick classes, graduate with special honors, smaller class sizes, and recieve garunteed transfer to a UC or CSU after completing general education courses, which is a great way to save money.
Going to school near home lowers the cost of attending college so that is a major plus for going to Fresno City College compared to other schools in different cities. My school also happens to have a really beautiful campus which isn't something that can be said about all community colleges.
Fresno City College is great because it is a two-year community college which means it is smaller than a university. The classes are intimate with excellent, professional teachers. Teachers are willing to give special attention to any help that I need in or out of class. Even though Fresno City is smaller, the activities on campus make it feel like a larger college. The campus itself makes me feel like I'm at Stanford sometimes. The old buildings are beautiful. I love that I can participate in competitive sports. It is best in the valley for soccer.
