I love the school. The professors are all current working professionals and are always up-to-date on industry practices and standards. The facilities and technology available to students are top notch. They really care about the success of their students, both inside the classroom and in the workforce after graduation as well.
Great school, great major, and a great choice as long as it is what interests you. I have never seen an accredited program similar to this one and I am extremely grateful that I found this school during a time when the video game industry was expanding.
Great school for expanding career
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Full Sail University is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell my high school self to calm down and take a breath. I would tell her that it's all a process and it will all come in time. I would tell her the Master's program will be here before she knows it and to enjoy the experience. I would tell her to not let the little things stress her out but just take it in stride.
Perhaps the worst thing about my school would be the price, but then again i wouldn't complain because i understand that they teach us with the latest equipment and the equipment is not exactly cheap, i would say it is worth it. Another dissadvantage would be the timing issue. Sometimes you may have class at 1 in the morning till 5 in the morning, but that bothers some people, one must remember it is a REAL WORLD EDUCATION, thus meaning, after graduation, you may work in a studio that you can only work at certain times.
Before I came to this school or even before I had graduated I wish I would have known how hard it was going to be to get funding for school. I would have started sooner and done as much as humanly possible to get funding to attend school, I would have had to have worked 2 full-time jobs to just afford living expenses. I wish I would have known more ways to get funding as well.
My classmates are impeccable and are driven to succeed.
I brag about the job placement, how high tech this school is and that I receive a MAC laptop with my tuition. And of course the classes and the backlot behind the school.
They are always there to help when someone needs it.
The kind of people who should attend this school are creative, hard working, open minded individuals. People who can step out of their comfort zones and addapt to an ever changing industry and culture should attend this school.
Not able to describe it. You must visit and see it for you own eyes. Beyond advanced in technology! If you want to major in any type of enterntainment, graphic designs, or gaming then this the school for you.
I have not yet came accross any such event or a thing that frustrated me. Though, nothing in life is perfect so one will always find good and bad everywhere they go.
My school is best known for music. That's kind of how it all started. from recording in a small van to a huge campus over the years. It came out to be the most successful music school in America.
Full Sail is a very hands on multi-media school really prepares you for a career in the entertainment industry. Besides its rigourous class schedule, Full Sail students are graded on professionalism at all times. You earn Global Professionalism Standard Points thru community outreach projects or you can loose GPS ponts for handing in a project late etc. Deadlines are very important in the entertainment industry and that is the purpose behind the GPS grading scale. Full Sail also furnishes every student with a 15'' Mac pwr. book. Loaded with all the top notch apps. needed to be successful.
Full Sail University is all about preparing the students for a real world professional potential employee of the media industry hence a student who is not professional should not take any of the courses at this school. One who is not ready for the demanding hours of what a full production would bring should also avoid attending Full Sail. In a nut shell, a person who is about doing things on their time and their way and not as a team unit should not attend this school.
Very fun and interesting.....Full knowledge and understanding of what I will need, and need to know in my field of study in the real world industry.
Helping out with all of the productions and events that happen constantly on campus.
I love Full Sail University's Film Program, especially the all instructors who teach in the three awesome Lighting Classes in CandyLand.
The stereotype at my school is that once you are done with your program, you will be fully knowledgeable and well prepared for the industry. As far as you want to go, you will go. Yes this stereotype is accurate, the success stories speaks for itself.
