When I was choosing the place where I wanted to receive my education in theology and ministry I had several specific criteria, and Fuller Seminary met them all. First, I wanted flexibility between classes on campus and online, and Fuller has a great online and residential hybrid program. They have hybrid classes that are very enriching and enjoyable as well as opportunities to attend classes in specializations outside of a specific degree. Second, I wanted my education to be academically challenging and enriching. Fuller Seminary is recognized worldwide in the field of missions, theology, and ministry. Many of its graduates go on to become leaders in their fields and many earn doctoral degrees, eventually becoming researchers and professors at universities around the world. Third, I wanted my education to be incredibly enriching towards my passion of Christian ministry and this is an area that Fuller has achieved great success. Their programs are designed to do more than fill our minds with information, but also to form us into people that are well equipped for challenges of ministry in any context. Their professor are deeply committed Christians with a wide variety of denominational backgrounds and yet every one of them has been genuinely caring persons who are ministers just as much as they are educators. Fuller has been a great decision, one that I will not regret and I encourage anyone considering ministry to give them deep consideration.

Fuller is a delightfully intimate community that is a home to both incoming students from all over the world, and keeps former students engaged and involved. The commitment of faculty and students to Christ and pursuing authentic community with each other is the bedrock of the educational experience, which is also of a very high caliber.
