The campus is beautiful, the classes are small, and the professors are WONDERFUL.

Hillary

Furman is great because it offers students a traditional liberal arts education without forcing students to take courses that they have no interest in. Also, there are many opportunities to gain experience outside of the classroom that significantly enhance the learning experience.

Lindsey

My university is small and inviting. The great student to faculty ratio allows the students here to make personal connections with our professors. Even though we are small, we still have tons of great activities that go on year-round (football, baseball, student organized activities). I chose Furman over anywhere else because the campus is beautiful, the faculty is very knowledgeable, and it is very welcoming and feels like home.

Jay

Furman is engaging, it's close knit, it's challenging, and it's comfortable. Most schools have that feel of an institution but Furman feels like a home. I came to this campus and knew from the start that this is where I wanted to be.

Tenell

Kelly

The students are all very friendly and happy to be here! The city of Greenville is a growing business and cultural center with a wonderful Main Street and every store/restaurant/etc. you can think of. The Greenville community is very supportive of Furman students. The library, Dining Hall, Physical Activities Center and Science Building are all recently renovated and top-quality. All students must live on campus, which really does promote a sense of community. Residence halls aren't too bad, and upperclassmen get apartments! And, of course, the campus is absolutely gorgeous--visit Furman and you'll see!

ann

Brittany
