It is a very good school with many different opportunities to have fun but learn. Everyone around you isn't mean and they help each other out, as well during class with the professor engaging everyone to learn. There are always events happening to enjoy some entertainment and have some food. Gainesville State College is a very good school to go to!

I believe the University of North Georgia (how it’s called now) is a growing multicultural University that deserves more recognition, the environment is very welcoming and I believe Proffesors, Factulty and staff are very good motivators for students!

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself to have faith in and believe in myself; i'm smarter than I give myself credit for. When I was a senior I didn't believe I was smart enough for college, so I waited until I was in my twenties to enroll. I have learned that I am so much smart than I give myself credit for. College has opened up so many doors for me but it has also given me the opportunity to find a belief and self worth in myself. College requires alot of hard work and determination but it can be so rewarding; not only has it helped me to brighten my future by providing new possibilities but it has helped me to learn to have faith in my own thoughts and beliefs and given me the courage to express them.

  3. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

I chose Gainesville State College because I knew the transition from high school to college would have been greater than I could have expected. Many high school teachers do prepare their students for the world beyond high school, but it all depends on the student. With Gainesville being a smaller college, teachers are able to help their students as much as possible more than the bigger colleges and/or universities. Fewer students to one teacher helps with the adjustment of satisfying certain assignments; therefore, students are more capable of receiving their maximun potential with the grade system.
