I became a student here to fast track my career, so far I am moving along successfully. There are many opportunities to learn as well as expand knowledge base. The campus is within a shared building, yet it does not feel shared. There is plenty of parking.

Galen is a great place to be. At Galen you're not just another number. The facility goes above and beyond to prepare the students to be safe prudent nurses. Professors are always available. The school has a peer tutoring program for students. There are several organizations such as the Student Nurses Association a group that focuses on giving back to the community. There is also Student Veterans Association a group that unites veterans and family memebers of veteran in seeking an education. Galen inspires students to be the best nurses they can be.

It really is pure nursing. You may think, nursing has nothing to do with a certain class, but they will always find a way to gear your learning towards nursing. Its great because it motivates you to know that, yes, this class is very necessary for a nursing career and you're not just throwing money away on a graduation requirement.

Lauren

The instructors are amazing and genuinely want you to succeed, the labs and especially the simulation lab are great for practicing before having to work with actual patients. Only big downside is parking, with sometimes having to park over at little Woodrow’s and walking to the school
