The best thing about my school, Gallaudet University is the sense of belonging. It is place where I can interact and learn within my own culture and language. The reason that I chose "sense of belonging" is because I am a deaf student and I can fit in the atmosphere. Gallaudet University is the world's only university with programs and services specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard of hearing students. It was established in 1864 by an Act of Congress, and its charter was signed by President Abraham Lincoln.

Communication access is probably the only good thing about Gallaudet. This school is for deaf/hard of hearing students and we used American Sign Language here.

The best thing about my school is the fact that it is a very diverse school. people from all over, different backgrounds, different growing up cultures. Gallaudet is a university for the Deaf, it has students from all over the country most are Deaf or hard of hearing, some are hearing but have relations with those who are Deaf or hard of hearing. But one thing is in common with everyone in this school, they all know about the Deaf and its culture and history, they all understand the difficulties and advantages of Deaf and hard of hearing.

My school is a University for those who are Deaf and/or HardOfHearing. There are so many other thing that are offered for those with physical and mental disabilities. They offer the chance for every student to have the right to be taught equally.

the best thing about this school is that we all are able to access easily with our communication by sign language. i love the feeling of unity with the students and staffs and big spirit at this school. i especially like that we all are in the same world... deaf, hard of hearing, and interpreters are everywhere on the campus just like i am... forgetting how hard times we have in the real world because gallaudet university offers us easy access, friendly enviroment, and all help we need.

My school is the best place for deaf and hard of hearing students to get a decent education. The academics may not be as rigorous as hearing schools, but you simply cannot beat the all-deaf environment. Everything is tailored for us, all undergraduate classes are taught in sign language, and it's truly the heart of the deaf community. Everything that an HBCU is to the black community, my school is to the deaf community. There's no better place than Gallaudet for a deaf student interested in liberal arts education.

One best thing about my school is the close-knit environment of students. The majority of students here share similar experiences, but they have sufficient experiences that set them apart from others and make themselves interesting to befriend. In addition, teachers are understanding and aware of what's going on around the campus and are determined to ensure that our college experience is satisfying.

my school is that students' decision to make any courses as their major. I am very impressed with this school because they provided social life and education that really good balance for our mind to stay stable. Some teacher try to fit in some students' need of high education, some of them are very intelligent so do not want their coursework, they offer them many handout projects that really challenge. Nice for students' desire to do anything and understand what teachers' need too. Not like other college can do that, for example look at law school very serious all times.
