The Greek scene isn't very big on this campus. A few people join Greek organizations, though they represent the less than 3% minority. Greek organizations typically do rush week in the Fall for prospective new members. Most students are involved with other organizations separate of fraternities and sororities. Also, these greek organizations are too expensive to join in this day and age. Some greek organizations organize dances or volunteer events, which other students may attend. These organizations aren't bad for students who desire a close-knit community in a large university setting.
