A person who does not like a large university and a person who does not like basketball. George Mason University's basketball team is a big hit around campus and many social events are centered around it. However, GMU also offers a vast array ofextra curricular activities including: clubs, intramural sports and club sports. A person who also does not want to be tested academically should not attend. Since GMU is in Norther Virginia, the competition is fierce to find a job and it is important to be well grounded and tough to survive.

People that should never attend my school are those that need a lot of structure in their lives. That dont have the self discipline to do the best that they can do with out any pressure put on them. Also people that need an enviroment that is extremely upbeat.

A person who is obsessed with partying, has a lack of moral or ethical character, and people who expect to never have any homework in college

This school is perfect for someone looking for a big campus with lots of diversity. This school is also perfect for the person that wants to be close to a big city, Washington DC, but does want to get caught up in the big city mentality.

A Mason student needs to be very open minded to other cultures, religions, and beliefs. Someone who wants to hang out with people who look, talk, and think like he does should not attend this school. The Mason campus is by no means dull and is only dry in some places, but it is not "party" school. Someone who is looking to party all the time and not study should not attend Mason. Someone who wants very small personal classes should also not attend Mason, as some lecture classes can have upwars of one hundred students.

Someone who just wants to goof off and get a degree anyways. You don't have to work hard here, but you do have to work.

Someone who would want to be in a fraternity or sorority. This school is also very foriegn-friendly, so if someone is new to the country or is looking for a very diverse setting, this school would be a good place for that.

If you are not here to learn then there is no point. We are all adults, no one will hold your hand and force you to do well. You must have that self-dicipline yourself.

A person who wants a full-out college experience shouldn't attend this school. Most students are commuters and therefore students who dorm on-campus sometimes don't experience the full college life. Most commuting students leave campus once their classes are done, which reduces the chance of students living on campus to make new friends. A person should not attend Mason, if they do not like a diverse school. George Mason is known for its diverse community and there is an even ratio of different races at our school.

Someone who wants a small, personal college experience would not do well at George Mason. Also, a student who is not independent and needs to be guided would not do well, either.
