George Mason University Top Questions

The best thing about my school is the way that freshmen are welcomed. All groups and clubs are looking for new members, this causes them all to be very welcoming to all freshmen. As a former freshmen it allowed me to get to know many different people and gave me to join any group that I wanted join.

The best aspect of my school is the amount of diversity it offers. Everyone here is different and it adds to our interesting and refreshing atmosphere. There are many other schools that are subject to only one race or one ethnicity, but George Mason offers the opportunity for us to live in a real world atmosphere where there are all different types of people.

The diversity at George Mason is incredible. I think everyone should be exposed to different races and cultures at some point in their life because it opens your eyes and is a great learning experience.

it's Accounting program is harder to get into therefore it weeds out the ones who are not really serious about taking the accounting route and working in the accounting field in the future. They also have the best accounting professors in the state therefore increases the value of our education.

The best thing about our school is the location because it is far enough away from the city so that students are not going out every night but not far enough away so that there is nowhere to go out on the weekends.

SPORTS!

gmu is close to washington d.c.; the capital of the entire country. there's always so much going on downtown such as protests, political rallies, etc. therefore, being able to go there by metro to experience it all makes gmu an excellent choice.

I like that Mason is a liberal arts school so a lot of the students are interested in activities that I like as well, such as theatre and dance.
