The students who come to GW often have defined career goals, and they actively pursue many of the best jobs and internships that Washington D.C. has to offer. So if you're more of a "wait and see" type of person, GW probably isn't right for you. Additionally, anyone who appreciates living in the heart of a city will love GW. The school is located in Foggy Bottom, four blocks from the White House and the National Mall.

It is a good place for International Affairs and Public Policy, and not as interesting for liberal arts. Mills College is perfect for a creative student who developing both the artistic and thechnical side to his/her music. The music department at Mills is wonderful.

Definitely someone who can handle a rigorous courseload. People who are political (and usually liberal) tend to love it here, but we also have a strong conservative presence on campus. People who like being in a city and who know how to keep their eyes peeled for what is happening in their surrounding area, and who know how to take advantage of that. People who are driven - so many students have internships or are involved with extra-curriculars that to just do well in classwork is not enough anymore - you have to do more to stand out.
