Being a small college with a lot to offer.
My school is best known for community. Georgetown is a small, private college with around 1400 students. All the students and facualty and stuff know each other and are willing to help one another. Professors will give students the home and cell numbers for their students to get ahold of them at anytime. If you are having trouble with anything whether it be money, family situations, or school the people that surround you on this campus are going to lend a helping hand.
I think it is best known for is the different programs/departments it offers. Georgetown has a very good education department. Also we have Equine programs, First Tee program, and the Bishops Scholars, they all help bring in cultural diverse people, and I feel it is a good thing.
Oxford Program and football
Georgetown College is a private Baptist college best known for its academics and great professors. It is a relatively small but close-knit school with high standards and expectations.
Small liberal arts college. Small college town. Sorority and Fraternaties. Good academics.
My school is best known for being a small baptist oriented college. There are many religions represented in the student body but overall Georgetown College is baptist. While it is a baptist school we still accept many ethnicities and religions among the student body. Because it is so small you feel like you know everyone and you feel comfortable because you see all your friends on a regular basis.
