I wish i would have known that college would be so much harder than high school
The poor academic assistance by the academic advisors
I really wish I knew about the available scholarships for incoming freshmen at Georgia State University; the deadline to apply was in the begginning of my Senior year of high school, and at that time, I did not know where I really wanted to attend college. Once I decided to attend GSU (still a good time before the deadline to apply to GSU), I learned of the scholarships, but the deadline had long passed. I wish these scholarships were advertised more - more to high school seniors who were still deciding where to attend college.
HOPE Scholarship!!!
That the financial aid office will give you such a run around for things. Overall they take care of what I need but its not done in a timely manner unless you get someone who actually cares enough to take the time to help.
i wish i would have known how big the school actually was and that it did not have a lot of parking spaces for commuting students or housing for the capacity of students that attend
I wish I'd known more anout African history
I wish I would have known that this school was not as student oriented as it seemed. The student life on campus is dead, especially for commuter students. I also wish I would have known that they would be trying out a new grading system that would jeopardize all students GPA.
Most of the information I wanted about the school was not difficult to find. I wish I would've known more about how financial aid works. I wish I'd known how difficult it would be to accquire on-campus housing.
I wish I had visited the campus. The surrounding area is depressing, and the buildings are very confusing. I wish that I had known about the lack of parking.
I skipped orientation & I wish I hadent! There is so much more to campus than I knew! I wish I had known more people who went to GSU before I started attending. I wish I woud have had more information on alternative was to afford school & how to get goverment assistance.
The staff is not helpful and is grossly inexperienced and unknowledgable.
I wish I knew how open the campus was.
