The overall diversity of the school giving students an opportunity to learn about people they wouldn't necessarily have met while on another campus.
It doesn't revolve around fraternity life or sports like many others. Also, concentrations are very tight with eachother.
My choice of school has an excellence theater program and I was going to do theater as my extracirricular activities. Their business program is quite a success as well.
The best thing about GSU is it's student body diversity. There are students from all over the world and having that diversity makes the campus very vibrant and alive. Another benefit is that it's location allows for huge oppurtunities that a student wouldn't get if they went to a more suburban or urban university/college. Since it's located right in the heart of Atlanta you have more oppurtinities that can help you land the job you want and get you into the career that you are want to enter after graduation.
there are lots of different kinds of people.
I believe that the best thing about Georgia State University is its location. Being in the heart of downtown Atlanta opens GSU's students up to numerous opportunities to learn more about internships, jobs/careers, research, diversity (cultures, languages, ethnicities), the arts (i.e. the FOX theater and the Rialto, politics (Atlanta is the location of the capitol) and so much more. Georgia State University really gives its students more of a taste of the "real world" and prepares us to succeed in it.
The best thing about Georgia State is the dorms that are arpartment style living.
I came here because my major (music technology). The music technology program here is a lot of fun and I've learned a lot.
I like being in the city. I like how everyone in my class come from a different background. Everyone is open minded and I sometimes learn just as much from my classmates as I do from my teachers.
The location of the campus (in the middle of downtown Atlanta) is the best thing about GA State because I like the feel of city life.
The diversity, I'm learning more about a lot of cultures.
The best thing about GSU is the fact that it is so diverse, you will be exposed to many different types of beliefs, opinions, ethnicities, and religions so this will mean that the class discussions will inculde all points of view. This will benifit you as a student, and make you more open minded.
The help in getting a job afterwards.
There are so many different types of people here. Students will be able to meet so many new people and get to know about many different religions and cultural backgrounds.
Location, diverse student body/faculty, variety of degree opportunities (the University will work with your career ambitions to create a major specific to you)
I would consider the cost to attend to be the best thing about my school. what you learn in the classrooms you can not get anywhere else. from the recreational center to the computers labs and the dining facilities. what you get is well worth the money.
Diversity. DIVERSITY. dIvErSiTy!!! My school has more cultures than any school I have ever visited. You can definitely take advantage of the different cultures and people that attend Georgia State.
The diversity and acceptance of all culture and openmindedness
After you get out of the core classes, which can be quite huge, there are upper level courses which are smaller and, in my opinion, better run.
The best thing about this school is the diversity. It is apparent that a various group of ethnic identities attend this school. You have so many different people from so many different backgrounds.
The best I think at GSU is the feeling of community and family around me.
It has my major which is very uncommon. Hospitality Administration.
The best thing about my school is the location and the size.
