Sarah

Tasciana

All of my classmates are empowered women who want to conquer the world.

Alyssa

My classmates all want to succeed in college so we usually create study sessions throughout the semester. Everybody is really nice and trusting. They don't single people out of make fun of people if they are different. They're quite in class so that everybody can hear the professor. They also ask sensible question that may go in depth about the learned subject. Respectful to the professors, school property and the students.

Nicole

Most of my classmates are very nice and interested in learning.

Jordan Tisdale, a Polo Ralph Lauren stylist and self-proclaimed "fashionista," gives the inside scoop on who's wearing what and how to tell a GCU resident from the commuters at a glance.

Ashley

The kind of student that would feel out of place at GCU is a guy's girl. One that, when in high school, hung around the guys and thrived off of social activity. Those who in high school were very academic and stuck to those who they felt comfortable would feel at home at GCU. Because classes are so small and there are no cliques here, different students so interact. In the dining hall, everyone is sitting together and even if you are eating by yourself, you can sit at any random table and be fine.

We located in the middle of a Hassidic Jewish neighborhood so it's really not a college town atmosphere. Most residents go to Brick, Toms River or Seaside to hang out and party. The relationship with the local township is odd cuz we're a Catholic School and they're mostly Jews. We have a lot of Black and Hispanic women on campus, Caucasians are probably about even proportionately but we don't have a lot of racial diversity beyond those three. Most of the students are middle class. Their parents are paying for college but they're not driving Mercedes. because we're an all girls school, we tend to dress up less. -A lot of sweats and PJ's around campus. Since we're a Catholic woemns school, there is a lot of social awareness, particularly on the subjects of womens issues and social work but we're not very political.

Christine

My classmates are diverse and helpful.

Caroline

They are extraordinarly helpful and really nice, they wanted to help you and so do your professors.
