Glendale Community College is everything to be had in a community college and more!! The facilities are up to date, the professors are excellent and very readily available, and the education you get for your money is unbeatable. The class sizes are fantastic, and it is likely connections will be made that shape academic experience and allow for supreme networking. As for activities, there is always something going on around campus. Everything to athletics, art shows, and even psychology presentations are available for entertainment, and that is only scraping the surface. Overall, GCC has one of the best community college environments to offer, and many students who attend go on to have more success in University than students who start out at a 4 year school.

My opinion since the beginning has been the same, ever since I walked to this campus I though that the school is great. It looks and feels like an actual school, it's big, has a nice library, great staff, amazing, professors, good food, they have tutoring for all classes and if students need extra help; professors will make an appointment to work with them. I decided to come here and not at Estrella Community college because all my friends go there and I already know the school campus, I don't like it. I also want to meet new people and experience college by myself. Learn with other group of friends, find my way up without asking for too much. So far, I love being here, I already applied for next semester, I will start classes on January 18 of 2018.

Glendale Community College has been a roller coaster like experience for me. I have had some amazing teachers who have been a big impact on my life but I have also had staff that view me as another number. For the price you pay, it is a decent school to get your prerequisites done and then transfer to a University. But I guess the saying is true, "You get what you pay for". Most students there just go to class, do the work and go on about their lives. There isn't much unity or a senses of community there. A lot of people that attend are working or parents so they don't have time to get involved or have school spirit. Beware of the staff and the call center that always give wrong information about classes and financial aid. They have messed up on my information many times which leads to headaches and confusion. If you are looking for a college that is a home away from home where you can become a family with your sorority sisters, then this place is not for you. But if you can work independently and want cheap classes that will get the job done on a budget then I recommend this place for you. Good Luck!

A Good campus and environment for college students looking for a small college and trying to plan a class schedule that isn't going to be as expensive as a university. GCC has two campuses that differ from a more university feel at main, versus a smaller and newer North campus that will prepare you for the transition to a university.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Glendale Community College seems to be more for adults who are going back to school. There isn't a lot of teens my age so it is quite hard to get that college experience that everyone talks about. However, solely based on academics, the professors that I've had so far have been absolutely spectacular. They all have a strong passion for education and they want to see their students succeed. The professors are also available at all times but, the best way to reach them is by email. Overall, I have had great educational experience here but as for the social aspect of it, I don't really care for it.

This is a great place to get started on your college education. The price is very affordable and worth every penny. I am learning a lot of the knowledge I need for my career field and I am also learning what it looks like to work hard for my education. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This college is a fantastic college to get prerequisites and other specialized courses. The campus is beautiful and well maintained as well as safe. The faculty is very kind and helpful. As far as my classes the ASEP class was difficult but very well put together. I would recommend someone to attend this college.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

My overall option of Glendale Community College is that it's a good starter school for the cost. I recommend all incoming high schoolers considering college take their core classes, or as many classes as they can, here, because not only does it save them money, the classes are most of the time interesting and intellectually based.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Glendale Community is overall a very good college to attend. The buildings on campus are up-to-date, and provide many settings for either group studies or a quiet solo study session. Majority of the faculty is extremely helpful, and are there to help you succeed. The only downside is that night classes can be somewhat unnerving with the nightlife around the area, so I recommend walking in groups if you do end up taking classes at night. In the day, however, the campus is very safe, and there is always a strong presence of public safety.
