It is affordable and it is a lot more competative than others may think. Since this is a community college, there is a stereotype that this school is easy to get an "A." However, like other universities, getting an "A" requires work and dedication.

I'm studying aviation and one of the things I like about Glendale Community College is that the aviation classes are offered mostly in the evening and on Saturdays. This makes it possible to work and still be able to go to school. The ease of registration is one of my favorite things too. You are able to log on, choose your classes and pay your fees all from the comfort of your home.

The school I am at right now is only temporary. I am planning to transfer to Azusa Pacific University. This school is unique because not only does it have a great education reputation but it does it with a faith based perspective. I am excited about this because I want to work in corporate world and do Marketing, but I want to learn how to do it the RIGHT way and with integrity. This school will give me the opportunity to learn it from people working with ethics that want to help me learn to work that way too.

The unique thing about our school is that it is not as big as other community colleges, but the people have huge warm hearts that are always there to help you. An example would be the program that i am in, which is Achieving College Excellence. They provide the help you need to fulfill your needs. Coming from a low income family, I did not have a laptop to use, so the ACE program have free laptops that you can borrow and work on your assignments. There are also tutors, and they provide healthy snacks for everyone.

The outstanding learning environment allows the students to fully engage in learning as well as socializing with students within the community. The diversity in races and ethnicities gives minorities a felling of welcome and acceptance. Being Armenian, there is a feeling of acceptance and purpose when surrounded with other Armenian students at Glendale Community College. The school itself also has great instructors willing to help any student and gives back to the community. There is that clich? that there is no place like home; well, Glendale Community College is my home.

It's not only that the school is unique by its self also the location makes the campus a place to be.
