I am in my second semester and living every second of it. Professors are always available and there to answer any questions I have. I have learned so much . I have successfully kept a 4.0 GPA and love the classes I have taken. Sometimes challenging but I always have free access to on campus or online tutors at all time.
Goodwin College is a commuter school with a very diverse population of students and faculty. Although this isn't the "typical" college environment, the education is excellent. The RN and BSN programs are outstanding. The RN program has connections with several large hospitals and offers well-rounded clinical experiences. The courses prepare students to pass the NCLEX boards to become registered nurses.
Goodwin College is the first college I ever attended. I left to go to a four year school in Massachusetts and ended up coming back, because the education was so much better here. The staff has been helpful and I look forward to continuing my learning here.
Pretty good college

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, I would definitly tell myself to focus more because all colleges look at your senior year grades and GPA.
How much it actually would cost me to finish my degree
My tuition is through the roof because they cater to inner city families as opposed to students who have to work for a living. All of the people who come here for free are problematic, often disruptive and professors are suckers for letting them make up work when they skip classes
Any student wanting to better their lives and continue their education would be the best fit for Goodwin College. Essentially, any individual not interested in furthering their education or whose heart really is not in taking their education seriously should not attend Goodwin. Goodwin strives to accommodate each and every student so that they have the best possible chance at obtaining the future they dream of. Goodwin wants to see every student succeed so it is crucial that all attendees of Goodwin College possess the motivation and dedication necessary to achieve greatness!
Goodwin College is best known for the nursing program. I am not in the nursing program as yet, but I hear that the professors are great and very helpful. However, Goodwin College received an outstanding award for "Best Places to Work in Connecticut in 2014."
The students at the school are so diversified, the school does focus on people going back to school and may be a bit older than the typical college student. But at the same time the school welcomes students right out of high school, and I feel that most of the students there are serious about school and know what they want out of it. There is no students the intentionally interrupt the class or mess around, like you might find at community colleges.
The thing that's unique about this school is that faculty interact very well with students. You feel as if they are a part of your family when you attend here. They're very caring and they want to see you succeed.
Goodwin College is my home. When I walk into Goodwin College I feel at ease. The professors love what they do and you can tell. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that the students are happy. I had attended three different colleges and Goodwin is the only one that made me feel like I belong there. Goodwin College has workshops for students such as Time management, Memory, Avoiding Plagiarism, create a study guide, Study Skills, Testing Taking, and much more. Goodwin is a great college and I am proud to be apart of the Goodwin family.
I think Goodwin College is excellent school for Nursing program. I have heard so many good things about Goodwin College. I found nothing frustratinng about Goodwin College.
Friendly, caring students and staff but expensive!
The kind of person who should attend this school could be the person who wants a second chance at a career, the mom who has children and wants to further their education, or the newly high school graduate ready to take some courses. Goodwin College accomodates all people with schedules that will suite everyones needs. They are supportive and understanding and make your education their priority. You really feel special at this school.
One of the most popular groups in my school is the poetry club.
The best thing about Goodwin College is the staff, everyone I have met with and have been advised by is so helpful and mindful of what plan works best for me. They do not treat me like every other student, I am treated like an individual that matters and has unique needs. Compared to the other schools that I have attended, Goodwin has gone above and beyond any experience I have had in the past. The school size is just right, the campus is beautiful and modern. Classrooms are technologically advanced and up to date, which is hard to find in most schools. The most common complaint among people who look into Goodwin, not so much the students that attend the school, is the pricing. Yes, the prices are more than a community college, but they offer so many payment options and scholarships to the students so the price is manageable.
There is no official stereotype of the school, because the school does a great job of advertising that they are open to any type of student and offer a diverse campus atmosphere for everyone.
I brag about the way i got into my Respiratory Care Program. The oppertunity that i have recieved as a student.
