Gordon State College is a fairly good school. The professors really care about their students' educations and most try to help as much as they can. The campus is very pretty and small which makes it feel very comfortable. A good amount of students, however, are the worst part about the school.
My opinion of Gordon State College are all good. I love my college and would recommend it to anyone. The staff care about our academic grades and our safety. The students are all following guidelines for covid. The school overall is great with cleanliness, rules, food, covid guidelines and etc.
Gordon State College is a perfect starter school if you live in surrounding counties and you are not ready to venture to far from home yet. It also a great place to come if you are fresh out of high school and you need a year to get your GPA up so that you can transfer to bigger schools. It would also be a great place to come if you went away to a big school fresh out of high school and did not perform well and you need a year or semester to get back focused and get your GPA back so that you can return. Gordon state is also a very affordable option if you are not looking to break the bank. They have a combination of Associate and Bachelors degree programs. Gordon is known for their nursing program and their 100% N-CLEX pasaage. The professors really enjoy their fields of study and you can tell this when they are lecturing. No greek life. Small town with nothing to do. Small campus. People usually find things off campus to do for fun. Basketball is a big thing but there is not a football team.
I am a theatre major. Gordon is definitely not an arts college, but with such a small program you're guaranteed a role in the productions either on or offstage. The class sizes are small and the professors are pretty chill and always available.

Someone who wants to experience a big city or large campus.
Gordon State offered genuine concern unlike bigger schools. I really love the campus and the majors that is offered. Gordon is unique in so many ways but in particular I like the intimacy there.
It is beginning to be known for its nursing program because it now has a four year program. It is also known for its small time feel because it is small. Classes have about 30 students per 1 teacher.
