Anyone who wants to attend a large university and be involved in fraternities or sororities, or party really hard all the time
A person who is not willing to embrace the community and really step out of their comfort zone shouldn't attend Goucher. Goucher is extremely diverse and provides a unique community which forces individuals to interact with people from different upbringings, religious affiliations, and ethnicity. An individual who doesn't want to speak up in class and who doesn't want to be held accountable for their assignments shouldn't choose Goucher. Due to the small student population, class sizes are small, intimate, and usually involve class discussions and debates about course material and current events.
An open minded person who is willing to work hard to succeed.
Someone looking for a BIG school with a huge social life (party school). Someone who wants a school with a lot of school spirit and turnout at athletic events. Someone who wants lecture classes and minimal contact with classmates and professors. Someone who does not want to know and recognize everyone on campus.
You should not attend Goucher if you feel you would be held back by a small community or if you are very conservative and are unwilling to be be in a political or worldview minority.
