Grace College started out great and keeps improving. They send out surveys to students about what the students want and then provides them. They just did a huge renovation. One thing about Grace College that stands out from other colleges is that freshman are given student mentors. They help you adjust to campus life and campus involvement. They also sit through freshman classes and work with professors as well as grade assignments. When a professor is busy, you have a mentor to go to.

Ella - 07/25/2020

This school is a lovely, very community-oriented space. Everyone here is very welcoming, and most of the people I have met here seem to be very genuine Christians. While it may not be particularly prestigious, it is very popular for its seminary, counseling, and teaching programs.

Alex

I personally love it there. You can always see a familiar face around campus and truly feel like you are at home. The relationships are as raw and authentic as you can get. The students are very smart and funny and amazing to be around. Truly, friendships here last a life time! I love that the class sizes are smaller so you can really focus on learning and getting more help from the professors. They want to see you succeed. You are not just a another number.

As a visitor of Grace College I found it to have a very peaceful atmosphere and it seemed an extremely safe college. As wanting to pursue a degree in teaching in the future I find Grace College and really good fit. The dorm rooms are a good size compared to other college dorms I have seen. I also love the size of the school it is small enough that you can know everyone in your degree and are able to know your professors a little bit better and have access to ask them questions.

It's important to make friends--school and work are important things, but friendship is the most important part of life. You need to take care to not get so caught up with those things that you neglect people. That doesn't mean that you should neglect your work--college isn't as easy as high school was. You actually have to study and apply yourself to work. The profs assignwork that actually can take a while to complete, and they expect you to complete your assignments well. Basically, you just need to be careful to make sure that even while you are being a "good student," you are also beign a good friend. College can be alot of fun if you let it be, but it's also a lot of work. It's scary, but SO worth it!

The best thing about Grace is the way that they care for each individual student. I have never attended a College where the professors truly want the students to succeed and are teaching for more than just a paycheck. I will never forget the day when a fellow classmate had some personal issues yet they felt comfortable enough to actually tell the rest of us, including the professor about them. At that moment, the professor stopped everything and immediately prayed for this student. It was a powerful moment. Each of us could feel God's presence in the room.
