What's unique about Grand View is that it's in Des Moines, a city where stuff happens but so much that you'll want to go out every night and not focus on studies! There are plenty of free events for students aroudn campus. What's also unique is that Grand View is extremely diverse. I'm on the volleyball team and we have 4 languages on the court at any given time. I love diversity which is why I chose Grand View.
