What is your overall opinion of this school?

Gratz College is truly a college based on Jewish values and always considers its students as part of the "Gratz family". Through their unique online approach to courses, one is provided with the opportunity to study with professors and students from all over the world all while remaining accessible to their lives in the locale they call home. Many of the professors are ordained rabbis and offer a wealth of knowledge for the subject areas they teach. Being a small school, everyone knows one another by name instead of being just another student id number. All in all, Gratz is truly a wonderful school where professors are not only skilled teachers, but also have a heart for their students.

What are the most popular student activities/groups?

Being a college that offers most of its courses online I would say the most popular activities are probably the impromptu groups that band together during the Summer Institute courses offered for a week or two over the summer in which students converge on the campus for a course that provides them with a three credit course taught in one week. It is an intense prospect, but well worth the week of exhaustion.

Describe the students at your school.

Student at Gratz College come from all walks of life, background, socioeconomic status, and even religion. You do not have to be Jewish to attend Gratz. In fact, the majority of the students in the Holocaust Studies program are not Jewish at all! It is truly a melting pot.
