The professors and academic advisors are always extremely nice and helpful here. Class sizes are great, too. However, you will want to live locally as there is no on-campus housing, so you will have to commute each day to get here. Food is average for a school cafeteria, nonetheless, there are many fast-food restaurants just down the street for a quick meal in-between lectures if you crave variety. The library is ok, but you may want to bring your own computer with you, as computer lab stations fill quickly especially when midterms and finals roll around. There are not many clubs to join, however, I find that more than half of the student body works at least part-time while going to school here, so there really isn't much interest in extracurricular activities. Overall, classes are good and the tuition is much more affordable than other local NH colleges.
Small campus. Awesome faculty and staff. Professors really care about their students. One down side would be due to low enrollment there are limited amount of class times. Growing sports' programs. Honor societies. Wonderful business department and faculty who are more than happy to help students succeed.
The teachers are great! They are very welcoming and helpful. They answer emails quickly and efficiently. The food is a little expensive. It is not a buffet style cafe. The admissions is very slow and can be unhelpful. Ive had them lose my paperwork and have them sign me up for classes I had not wanted to and had not paid for, they almost graded that class... that would've killed my GPA. Then I did a transfer application to UNH, they have to sign it and send it out themselves. They never signed it or sent it out after I email it and got a response from them. If you want something done... do it yourself.
Great Bay Community College is a great way to introduce yourself to college life. It's a small campus and has no dorms, but the education and community there is top notch. It's an affordable alternative to those who aren't sure what they want to do just yet, or to those looking to reduce their student debt.
Great Bay Community College is a great place to learn. The classes are small enough that you can easily keep in touch with your teachers, but the building is large enough to house a variety of majors alongside multiple computer labs, a library, and social spaces. In addition, they've just recently added a gymnasium and workout room for the athletic students and those who like to keep active.
I think that is the friendliest and most adaptive community college around. They strive to accommodate everyone's personal needs. It is great to be able to go to a college that is affordable and close to home. I know that I will be successful at this college and beyond.
As a student who is attending Great Bay Community College in the Fall 2018 semester, I find the college to be very huge and full of opportunities, academically and extracurricular. There are plenty of activities such as clubs that match our majors, a gaming club, and many sports teams.
Great college to start your education career, I chose to go to Great Bay for the financial convenience, since it is so much cheaper than most universities. They have been great at helping me get the information I need to know to transfer to get a bachelors degree from a university. Great starting point.
The school was a great way to begin your college career and compete Gen-Ed requirements without breaking the bank. Occasionally things can be a little backwards or difficult to figure out, but overall the campus and its staff are really great. There is no on cause housing, and student activities are limited, but with enough motivation its easy to get a group of students together and go out and do something fun.
My overall opinion of the school is that it is an extremely beneficial environment to be around. There's tons of activities that go on every so often that the school puts on for us. Within my first year, I noticed that everyone is very helpful and all of my teachers were easily accessible, on and off campus. As a student who sometimes has trouble with school, having easily accessible teachers is very important to me. Everyone is very polite and everyone I've talked to is always willing to help out one another which also makes for a better schooling environment. My expectations for a community college were definitely exceeded when I started going here.
I think it’s a great school! I like how the school is right near the mall where a lot of students like to hang out and the teachers are always accessible and ready to help out their students even if it’s just a little thing. I also like how it’s so close to my house and in a really nice area. The food is also very good there but I think it should include more menu options.
Great Bay Community College is an excellent learning institution, with many extremely valuable leadership opportunities. The college provides non-traditional students with accessible, affordable education. The extra-curricular clubs and sports are incredible for the small size of the school. The faculty and staff are there to help and will always put students first. The food options could be better.
