The type of person who whould not attend greenville college would have to be one who is not a religious person. This school is based mainly on religion so its a big deal on campus.

I honestly think this school is a great place to learn to think outside the box. I wouldn't recommend it for people who want a crazy party/social life. Although there are multiple opportunities to enjoy yourself socially, there are certain rules that prohibit substances and activities that people would normal associate with the regular college student's life. Also, if you aren't willing to allow your worldviews be challenged, I wouldn't recommend this school.

Niquita

Someone interested in the fraternity/sorority type of social life would feel out of place at Greenville. Additionally, those interested in staying on a straight line path to their desired career and who is disinterested in a liberal arts education would be frustrated with the education requirements of a liberal arts school such as Greenville College.

Diana

Someone who lives the "good life." Drugs , alcohol, and sex a prohibited at this school. So if you wanted to do any of that, you would have to be in complete secret. Also, anyone who isn't willing to accept other people's views on life probably shouldn't attend either. Last, if you don't like people knowing who you are, this is also not the place for you.

John

Well kids, one should note when researching Greenville College, that this is a christian college. Now while that might nor realy matter to 90{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of you, there are some who need to understand what that means. That is that there are several expectations for enrollees, mainly the expectation to conduct yourself in a manner befitting the, Christian, reputation of this institution. So consider carefully what you expect to do with your free time while at college.

Rylan

You shouldn't attend this school if you expect to party a lot during college. Although drinking and partying does happen, it is very limited. There are also no fraternaties or sororities on campus, so if that's a big deal to you, don't come here.

Jennifer

People who are not serious about their academics.

Jaclyn

those who don't take their education seriously; are not open to following the rules which is no sex before marriage, smoking, drinking, cursing. this doesn't mean students don't break the rules. As a christian school it will have christian principles as a part of its student conduct. Also, chapel is required to attend so many times a semester. If you are not open-minded yourself, then you will oppose going 2 or 3 times a week.

Sarah

Of all the things one should consider when looking for a school, program reputation is one of them. Here, the biology program is sub-par. The chemistry program is great, though. This is not the school for those that are very-hands on.

Chad

Well, if you are a non-Christian you might not want to consider going to Greenville! Because they do encourage students to attend Chapel at least two-three times a week for pray, worship, and lectures! Here at Greenville you do get tested a lot...it is because the professors here want to make sure you know the information really well!

Alex

At a liberal arts college one main goal of the academic establishment is to advance students in multiple areas. At Greenville College a collective spirit of change and growth thickly scents the air. Challenges of faith, understanding, and approach are served as commonly as potatoes in the cafeteria. Students looking for a vanilla experience regarding education should refrain from putting a scoop of Greenville College on their plate.

Tasha

People who shouldn't attend this school are those that have a problem with religion in classroom settings, having their political and religious views tested, and those that don't want to have "wholesome", "clean", "appropriate" fun. To enroll, the students must sign a Lifestyle statement, which outlines acceptable and unacceptable actions for this school. If a person has a problem with the lifestyle statement, then they shouldn't come here unless they are willing to follow it.
