Grossmont Community College is a great school if you're looking to transfer to a CSU and UC. Grossmont is also a community based school which gives the school a feeling of "home". Overall Grossmont is a great school and I would recommend anyone to go here.

I like the school, considering this is my first semester at the Grossmont-Cuyumaca Community College District. The campus is beautiful. The people at the administration office are nice. The classes, so far, are not too bad, too demanding. You can get buy. Teachers so far are very helpful, professional, and valuable for furthering my education. I appreciate the staff and the student culture around me.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Grossmont College has the better food and a better-looking student center. Cuyamaca has the better sports. Some of the professors are great, yet others don't seem to care. Overall, it's a good school to get a head start on college level curriculum and for transfer.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Having gone to several community colleges in San Diego, I can confidently say that Grossmont-Cuyamaca is the best community college. It's an institution that cares about it's students and offers specialty classes in many subjects from Watercoloring for Art majors to Novel Writing for English majors.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I am eager to learn and excel towards my degree, yet the teachers that I have experienced - 5 total - show know care whether the student learns and succeeds. My chemistry teacher gave a quiz and told the class, "If you want to copy off other students do it quietly".... I was appauled!! Some girl tried to copy my answers and I told her to "back off"! My philosophy teacher was a Socialist and proclaimed it during every class. My experience so far is that the teachers just don't care, its just a job to them.... sadly, this is the only college I can afford. I just graduated HS at 16 and already completed 5 college classes. There should be better college options that are affordable for eager students like myself.
