I love attending Grossmont and Cuyamaca. I was saddened when school was moved online because I loved the atmosphere of the school. Everyone was always so friendly, and when we moved online I was scared that was going to go away, but it did not. I was still able to build relationships with my professors and my peers.
Having gone to several community colleges in San Diego, I can confidently say that Grossmont-Cuyamaca is the best community college. It's an institution that cares about it's students and offers specialty classes in many subjects from Watercoloring for Art majors to Novel Writing for English majors.
I like it, I think going to community college is the best route for anyone to take and I think community college has a negative connotation. But, they put in as much of an effort for students and incoming students and have an on-hands approach.
It's a great place. It is the only reason I've been able to go to college, it is so affordable and has a wonderful atmosphere. The people I have met here are some of the best friends I have ever had. The professors are great and are always available to help us.
