The staff at this school were very friendly. Each staff person would give me a different answer when asking questions during and after the admissions phase, so there was a lot of "going in circles" back and forth to different offices, since no one seemed to know the correct answers to any of my questions. The teachers were nice outside of the classroom but often very hard to work with within the classroom. You have to teach yourself a lot of the material to the point where the time spent actually at school in a classroom feels like a waste of time.
Great school!!!
I think Gwinnett Technical College is a very good college to get started on one's path to a career, offering affordable tuition, good courses, and fast enrollment. Being a community college, it lacks in quality that of what a 4-year college would provide to its students. Instructors are always very helpful and never rude or look down on their students. In conclusion, Gwinnett Tech is one of the best colleges to go to when starting a degree or getting a certificate, diploma, or associate degree.
Its great for adults with busy lives trying to go back to school but its incredibly dull for students just out of high school. Not very much to do on campus other than classes.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Gwinnett Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Self; Knowing what I know now you should have gone to college and stuck with it. You would be in a better place. If you would have followed the plan you would have finished law school and become a great lawyer. Slow down and take your time because it will go by quickly. There are no regrets but time is of the essence and you can do anything. Finish college and get the education you need in order to have a better more successful life.
The worst thing about the school is the lack of parking spots.
My classmates are helpful and cheerful, and they are always ready to learn and work!
The unique thing about my school is that they individually prepare each student to succeed.
Not really sure. This is my first year.
The one type of person that should not attend this school is someone that is lazy. You have to be self motivated to go to any school, especially this one. So make sure that you are on top of your school work and maintain a good attitude.
The most frustrating thing about Gwinnett Tehnical College is the limited access programs in Healthcare. This is nationwide. Program directors can only choose so many students per year for their healthcare programs, such as nursing, radiology, surgical tech, and denal assistant.
agressiveiness- they go after what needs to be done. Parking situation will be taking care of by summer. They are building a better way now.
I love my school because, with affordable tuition, acceptance of federal and state grants, tons of certificate, diploma, and degree programs, many online and night classes, and tutoring from the Student Success Lab, it provides an avenue for anyone to be able to pursue the education that may be the key to improving their station in life.
Only those serious about their education.
how close the campus is to where i live and how it is very easy to apply for the classes that i need to finish school

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
