Tradition by and far sets Hampden Sydney apart from any other school. Whether its the age of school (1775), the all-male aspect, or the tradition of celebrating wholesome values, almost every aspect of Hampden Sydney is much different from any other school in the United States. You could probably never find another campus in the world where students wake up at the crack of dawn, go to the on-campus gun locker, pick their gun up, and hunt, and then still be back in time for class at 8:30.
