The most frustrating thing about my school is that some of the teachers do not care about their students. We use a system called blackboard and for my first semester of the six classes I had, only one teacher posted grades. This caused me to not know where I was standing academically in any of my classes. Being so this was very hard on me as a student who constantly had the stress of wondering whether I was passing or failing.

Registering for classes is the most frustrating thing about Hampton University, mainly because you need the help of your advisor to select classes. Also, each upcoming semester you need to receive a new pin to register for next semester. Additionally, there is a scheduled time that you can sign up for your classes online.

The administrative activities (making sure financial aid is correct, registering for classes that full up quickly, etc)

The most frustrating thing about my school is the financial situation. I feel that it’s a business than a school trying to help better my education. At anytime that me or my fellow classmates are behind a schedule payment. The school will threaten to drop our classes or remove you from housing on campus. It’s a very stressful thing, to worry about each semester hoping that my money was receive by the school in a timely manner.

I find it frustrating that we have a grading system that will allow professors to update our grades throughout the semester and let us know how we are doing, and they do not use it. Many of them do not even know how to use the Blackboard program that the school provides to benefit both students and teachers. Also, group projects are big at Hampton and this frustrates me because not all studnets are serious about their work and others have to suffer.

Every college has its good and bad but I cannot completely see what is frustrating because you should ultimately make the college fit ur person needs and not you fit the college needs. If anything should become frustrating than it is with me.

The most frustrating thing about my school is at times there is not enough activites to be involved with during the weekend. There may be events that are happening but becaue I a ma freshman , I can't get to them due to them being off campus.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that there is always some kind of process that a person must go through in order to get something done. My friends and I call it "The Hampton Run-around." It is a hassle trying to get everything done by a particular deadline when the staff has students running all over campus just to get a paper signed. That is the only thing that frustrates me about my school.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the amount of work. College professors assign assignments that can and will take a lot of time to complete, but expect the work to be done within 24 hours. Also, comming fresh out of highschool there are and will be some skills that a highschool did not learn, but the professors expect you to know it and if you dont.............LEARN IT and fast.

There are a lot of fustrating things at Hampton, but the worst has got to be the cafeteria. Students should be able to have healthy and tasty options for food. The amount of money that students spend on food is not worth the disgusting mess they give us. The cafeteria is only open for a few hours at a time during the day, and if students have late classes, they can forget about going to the cafe because if will be closed; not that they are missing a great meal anyway.

The most frustrating thing about my school would be the "run around" students may get when they're not registered on time, financially cleared, or if they have other circumstances where they're not up to par with their records. This is most frustrating because many times, students are sent all over campus to different faculty for answers when the first person typically could've answered all questions.

The most frustrating thing about my school is getting the run-around when you are new to the campus. It was frustrating for me when I arrived at school but, once I found out who my advisor was everything straighten out. I now know what to expect from my school.

The only thing I find frustrating about my class is that Freshmen are not allowed to have a car.

The most frustrating thing about Hampton Is the run-around that each office gives you whe you have a problem, it would most likely be a all day affiar. Another thing is how the school is in the middle of no where and you you need a car for where ever you need to go and major cities are far. Hampton doesnt give a lot of money to the students.

The customer service is awful and it makes you think twice about how much you're paying to attend. I do not necessarily like the fact that there are so many rules as well; I pay too much money to have my life run like it was Freshmen year.

Administration/Business Office.

The most frustrating thing to me about Hampton are all the many rules and regulations. Nothing outside of the student handbook is tolerated and administrators are very quick to put you academic probation.

The most frustrating thing about Hampton University is that they are known to give students the run around. Hampton also is known for not trying to help students pay for school, given that it is a private institution.

The cafeteria is small and dorms are strict on visitation.

The amount of time it took to handle financial business, due to the lack of computer resources for handling financial aid paperwork.

The most frustrating thing about my university is the faculty that works with the students to resolve general problems. They tend to be extremely rude and I do not believe that it encourages students to want to get their problems resolved. They continually give students the run around and usually only make students more stressed with their issue.

Students point of view wasn't taking into consideration on financial aid, housing, dorm life or graduation notifications.

The run around like at most Universities

The most frustrating thing has to be the "Hampton Run Around", which means that in order to do anything , you will be sent to soooo many different people and buildings in order to get it done... and you might not even get anything done.

The most fustrating thing about school is since its a private school, most of the students are wealthy and everyone is always dressing and acting to impress. At my school everyone is classy/preppy and you learn to become apart of the society even if you don't have as much money. You get caught up in the luxury life and take on the role which can benefit you but break your pockets.

The culture of the people at the time, the pressures to follow the upperclass group closely followed by little help from administration to get problems solved.
