What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Andrea

Hey you! I'd just like to say that college is going to be the greatest experience of your life so far. It's so amazing and you'll learn so much about yourself. One thing I want you to know now is that you have to be confident of your career choice; take an aptitude test because what you've chosen to do now is amazing and trust me you would never have expected it. Enjoy senior year, enjoy your friends, and enjoy the simplicity of your life today.

I will not do ragging to my juniors

If given the opportunity to talk to myself as a high school senior I would?ve told myself to explore options in the adult world that interest me beyond ballet (previously my dream was to be a professional ballet dancer). After choosing the career path that I wanted to peruse I would?ve told myself to investigate which college/university would be the best fit for my career choice.

If I could go back to my Senior year, I would tell myself to get into college a lot sooner than what I did. I waited and stalled thinking that Ihad all the time in the world and that I wouldn't have to worry about how to support my daughter and myself alone. But now that I do have to do that, I realize that I should have gotten started much sooner. While I love my school, I also might have gone to a 4 year college to get a degree in Nursing rather than starting out in Medical Assisting with the hope to move up.

I would tell myself, don't get married so young, and have children so young. Go to college and get your nursing degree so that you can provide for yourself and your family, when your ready for a family. Because with a nursing degree you will be able to work anyplace, and if your family moves you will always have a job.
