What kind of person should attend this school?

A highly ambitious, innovative scholar should attend Harvard. The scholar should be a hard worker and a determined dreamer. He or she must have an unwavering passion for learning, self-discovery, and helping others. Most importantly, the individual must be characterized by a never-ending desire to do things. The scholar must constantly reflect on his or her future: What are the next steps? How are they to be achieved? How will they help mankind? If a Harvard education is to be of any value, the individual must graduate with a deeper and still unquenched thirst for knowledge and service.

Contrary to popular belief, Harvard is not the home of pompous elitists. As a member of the low class, I was scared of these sterotypes, but not yet have I met the "typical" pretentious Harvardite. Instead, Harvard is best for those that love to learn, that have a variety of talents, and that are undecided of what career path to take. Since it is a liberal arts college, students must dabble in a variety of subjects and discover their intended major through a full-rounded curriculum. Also, its advising is top notch for the confused, so it welcomes the undecided.

Harvard is great for open-minded students who are willing to explore the myriad of opportunities available, whether in classrooms or in club settings. There are so many resources at hand, but it takes someone who is willing to reach out first to take full advantage of them. While Harvard ranks number one in many aspects, one of the most important ones is the network: connect with classmates, professors, advisors, alumni, etc. and you will find that having a Harvard support system makes your life so much easier.
