Harvard is a truly wonderful place. The best thing about the university are the people. All the students I've met are really passionate and driven individuals. The professors are brilliant, caring, and always available to the students. You can get to know them well by attending office hours, inviting them to a student-faculty dinner, or even just asking questions during/after lectures. If you are interested in research, even as a freshman, you can easily join a lab and get a professor to personally mentor you, meeting you once a week or more.

It seems to be a very interesting school with a lot to do outside of academics. The people there seem very down to earth and focused on school but also know how to kick back every now and again. There is plenty of community work to do for those who are interested in helping around the area and getting volunteer hours. The campus life is neat and the dorms are nice, everyone on campus is willing to help you with problems you may have. The professors are generally available as well and will always make time for you especially if you need it.

Harvard offers so many resources and opportunities, which IMO is its greatest strength. Institutionally, it has its faults in keeping up with other STEM schools and on social issues being too reactive rather than proactive, though hopefully that will improve.

Harvard University is an outstanding institution with something incredible to offer for every one of its students. I came to college unsure of myself, my identity, and my path, but after just a single semester have found myself more sure of who I am than I ever could have imagined. The admissions committee is unbelievable. Everyone of my peers has something to teach me. I learn just as much from casual conversations with my friends as I do from my professors. I truly couldn't have dreamed of this experience. Whether I'm spending hours sitting in 'The Berg' munching on Marshmallow Mateys chatting with my friend Maisie, or grinding on an 'EC Pset' in the depths of Lamont Library, I always know that I've found my home at Harvard.

RJ

Harvard is an amazing place full of extraordinary people. The conversation is always interesting and the financial aid is so good it's what I can only describe as a real dream come true.

Madison

You go here for the connections you make. The education is amazing, but if you apply yourself at any other school you could probably get much of the same. The people here though are incredible, and this network will be with you the rest of your life.

Elizabeth

I enjoy Harvard and its surroundings as well as the academics. I like the classroom size and the involvement of the participants on the campus. I have noticed everyone on campus is open, friendly, and focused on their education and academics. Overall Harvard is one of the Best Universities out there.

Jean Britney

Harvard university is the best. You learn new things every day.

Peter

I believe that Harvard University is a very effective place for the fulfillment of tertiary education. It has a warm and inviting ambiance to it which promotes the involvement of students in academic and extracurricular activities. Harvard associates very well with the city of Boston and their history coordinate with each other. The prestige of this university motivates everyone to go beyond expectations and to practice perseverance and diligence. Taking all of this into account, I can reasonably say that Harvard University is one of the best educational institutions that I have seen.

Cindy

Harvard is literally such an amazing school. I've met so many people that I would not have encountered if I stayed in my hometown forever. Harvard is great because it brings people from all over the world together, and this mixture of perspectives allows us to really learn from and understand each other.

Heather

Harvard University- Extension School provides an amazing combination of experiences. Not only are the professors the absolute authorities on their subjects, but when added to an international classroom format in their online classes it is truly an amazing experience!

Patrick

It's sometimes easy to forget where to go and complain about the food, the dorms, or the campus. Sure, I do that too, but at least once a week I find myself walking a step back and taking a moment to realize what amazing opportunities are available at Harvard. In my first semester, I got the opportunity to meet world leaders, national figures, renowned artists, and many many more notable people, some of these even being professors of mine. It's almost unbelievable the caliber of people that come through Harvard as teachers, visiting fellows, and even students. You will learn something every day no matter whether you try to or not. That's a pretty great feeling. The financial and material resources as well. From clubs to research opportunities, to financial aid and study abroad, Harvard does its best as an institution to quite literally give you the world (as far as study abroad is concerned) or at least to make the world as easily accessible as it can be. If you need it, you can find it here. The one thing Harvard could do a lot better is to advise their students. From the moment you walk onto campus, you're kind of swimming alone. If you know how to swim (having gone to a prep school or having upperclassmen friends) then swimming only takes a little to learn, but for those of us who kind of just jumped in, it's sink or swim. Such is life, and in that sense, it's a four-year crash course on how to pick yourself up and find your way.

Channing

This is a school that puts a great deal of emphasis on intellectual and artistic achievement. To succeed here, you must be a go-getter and a hard worker. If you're looking for a place that will push your limits, stretch your mind, and challenge your assumptions, then this is the place for you.

Mario

Harvard University is a generous institution that makes it possible for students from different backgrounds to interact with one another on a campus that quickly becomes home. The small class sizes and the exclusivity of the college make the four years entirely worth it.

peyton

Harvard is an acceptable university for scholars who want to obtain a beneficial edification. Not only should individuals admire the education, but also the fine arts program. Harvard has accomplished a lot over the past twosome of years. Anyone who gets into this school should be proud of him or herself because the individual has accomplished a lot to get into the university.

Benazir

As I'm a freshman, I haven't spent a lot of time at Harvard, but I already love it. Everyone here is passionate about something, talented in some way or another, and in general I have found it to be a very diverse, welcoming, and open community. It is so easy to be exposed to a plethora of new ideas, opinions, and experiences everyday, and I feel like I am being made a better person each day because of this exposure.

Harvard is full of great opportunities, but it is sometimes difficult navigating them and it can be overwhelming. In my experience, faculty has been very welcoming and eager to connect with students. Harvard also definitely has the monetary resources to allow students to really pursue whatever they want.

MuninVorleak

The best Choice for every one around the world because Harvard provide academics skills for students to learn, good care, service and include other good activities that are new to some students around the world to study abroad especially with many professionals professors to teach them.

Kisai

I can truly say that Harvard University is the BEST school...ever. I love it here. I came here just when I was 16. I was nervous at first since I am a little young, but teachers, and students welcomed me with open arms. I wake up every morning ready for class.

I really want to go to Harvard but I feel like I’m not smart enough.

Emmanuel

Harvard University is a school that truly lives up to its name. As a student at the Extension School, the support of the faculty and academic staff is priceless, especially for the online courses. The professors are one of the best aspects of studying here, and they show their support every step of the way. I can only speak for the courses at the extension school which are modeled after those at the College or GSAS (depending on whether you're undergrad or grad), and I can say with confidence, that they deliver a world-class level of education which only a university like Harvard could provide. They also make every University affiliate feel at home. Whether you're Extension or College or any other school, you have access to the incredible Harvard libraries. That alone should motivate anyone who is truly interested in building a strong academic acumen to attend.

Leisy

I love Harvard!!! The campus is amazing and the nearby community is so diverse and there's tons of great food on and off campus. Students are so friendly and encourage each other to push themselves educationally and succeed. The campus is beautiful and clean and there's great events going on all week.

Ellena

I love Harvard, I got in with a full scholarship because my Uncle works there. I love the boys they are so cute and geeky but are nice and smart. The sororities are so fun! Definitely recommend!!!

Vega

This is an amazing school to go to. It is actually one of the top schools in the world, I would recommend going here if you are given the chance. It may be a hard school to get into but I would recommend applying if you have a chance. There are many amazing things to learn there I'm sure there is something there for you.

Dinaol

Harvard university is the producer of future generation.

Emily

I'm very glad that I chose to go to Harvard. You always feel like you are learning in the classes. However, I feel like the administration does not value the mental health and safety of its populace as much as it should. Also, you would be surprised that the campus culture is not all completely liberal. Finally, the food is surprisingly not that great. But I have met some of the best people in the world on this campus :) so it is all worth it to me.

Harvard University offers the most incredible experience for its students. From the rich history to the esteemed faculty to the vibrant atmosphere of Harvard Square.Harvard University is an elite school that will catapult most students to the top 5% of income earners (statistically speaking). However, getting a degree from Harvard is incredibly difficult with a high workload and all i will say is The campus is magnificent. Harvard is more than a name, it is an exemplary educational institute.

Comfort

As one would expect, Harvard University is an academically challenging institution of learning. It is a great place, but it is not perfect. The Cambridge/Boston area is rich in history, but is not always the most exciting place. Nonetheless, I have had a great experience so far.

Noah

Stimulating academic and extracurricular environment filled with highly talented and motivated students. Cambridge and Boston are exciting urban areas for college. Harvard fosters an on-campus community through its residential house system, and all freshman live in the same area of campus

Can't say much about the University at large, as I am a medical student. In terms of HMS, my experience overall thus far has been a positive one. Faculty is extremely available and excited to work with students. I'm a student of the new curriculum, which certainly has kinks that must be worked out to be successful, but faculty has been at least somewhat receptive to our criticism and feedback.

Peyton

Harvard is amazing! The faculty and staff are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and encouraging. Many professors write their own textbooks, so they truly are masters of the topic they are teaching about. The students are incredible in every way. They are talented, educated, and fun to be around. The experience is out of this world.

Jessica

It is a prestigious and honorary school that I am very interested in applying to. I love the ambiance with the elegant early nineteenth century style many buildings have along with the friendly and cheerful students. Additionally, there are many opportunities for community involvement and a club for everyone.

Michael

Harvard is exactly like you've heard: the iconic red brick buildings that you have your classes in have been around for hundreds of years and were literally used by Americans back to the 1630s. The sports teams are routine champions, the Crimson produces great news stories for the entire school population to read, the classes are taught by some of the best professors of the world, etc. But amidst the chronic pursuit for excellence in all its forms, for me Harvard is like another home; I love playing frisbee in the Yard, sleeping in the House hammocks, and going for walks along the Charles River. Thus, from the outside, people see one world; but from the inside, we see a different world, one of ordinary happiness and pitfalls just like any other college.

Janet

Harvard is a nice place, the size of the school is just right, have you met the people, they are too nice, this is a school I will like to go to. I figured Harvard is a place where you will have to things yourself, grow up and be independent. It also full of intelligent, smart and ready to learn students unlike high school

Safwan

Amazing Campus. All round people are so friendly and cooperative. The environment all around is really entertaining and eye catching. People of various culture and country congregate all the time. The whole campus reeks of life, innovation and ideas ! Cant wait to visit the campus again !

Put most simply, Harvard University is an incredible place, full of the most intellectually capable people you'd ever meet. When I got to Harvard, I was admittedly quite intimidated not only by my peers, but by the workload and indeed the place itself. If I could give any advice to incoming students, it would be this: don't be intimidated. If you choose to come here, you'll find an incredible network of supportive people to help you work on real, meaningful challenges facing society-at-large. While you shouldn't underestimate how cold it can get in winter, just know you'd be making the right decision if you do choose to come here.

Austin

Harvard University is by far one of my favorite schools that I have reviewed. It contains one of the most intellectual schools in the nation, and it is overall a very amazing place to be. The culture surrounding everything that goes on on campus, and there is never a shortage of things to do.

Edgar

Its an amazing university and hope to go there soon. Overall its great, there´s plenty of space but not to much and the students seem to be willing to learn and the teachers are willing to teach. I talked with some students and all heard were could remarks about the campus.

Samantha

It was such an extensive campus intermingled with Cambridge. I was admitted to the college and believe that I am going to go to it if only because of the academic excellence. I expected a smaller, ivy covered set of buildings in my head. Instead, buildings go on and on and vary from traditional brick around grassy quads to modern. It was a bit intimidating to see all the brainpower and resources available there.

Jasmyne

When I say Harvard is the best school ever I really mean it. Harvard deserves every one of its 5 stars and works hard to maintain it. As a Peer Advising Fellow I work hard with the First-years and I can assure you we have something for everyone! Students are able to find supportive communities, reinvent themselves, challenge their preceding opinions, learn new skills, attend flawless concerts, enjoy the Harvard-Yale game, get involved in House community, find opportunities in Professor's labs, and so much more!

Vinish

World-Renowned Research Centre and Institute for Academic Excellence. A place where great minds from across the world unite to make the planet a better place to live. Plenty of resources and opportunities available for students to push past their limits and become leaders in their respective fields.

As a black woman living in America, I’ve always known that nothing would ever be completely perfect. And that’s the attitude I took when making the arduous decision of what school I would be heading to come fall of 2019. I was fortunate enough to get into an amazing selection of schools, but ultimately I chose Harvard for one simple reason: it was Harvard. I knew that the connotation that came with the name of this school would supersede any negative aspect of it and I hoped that the knowledge and experiences that I would gain would outpace the downfalls that I would inevitably come across as a black woman at a majority white institution. I can happily say that my wishes came to pass. Harvard gave me a beautiful and historic campus with lots of amenities. I could go to the gym, wash my laundry, or watch television basically whenever I wanted. Additionally, the prime location in cambridge gave me an option to eat wholesome food and take a break from dining hall food. There was a CVS two minutes away from my dorm that allowed me to pick up any last minute items that I may have needed. There were some downfalls at Harvard that I inevitably faced. The food was much more bland than my spice filled African household was used to and at first I found it difficult to find my people. I had always been used to being around white people, coming from a white suburb of Boston. But ultimately I fit in with a supporting group of people who looked like me, which was an unusual but comforting experience for me. Another downfall was that the higher ups at Harvard tended not to listen to their very liberal minded students, but it was still such a great feeling to see the passionate student-led demonstrations. Yes, Harvard is not perfect and I did not expect it to be. But all the relationships and experiences made it and will continue to make it so worthwhile. The education that I have received from world class professors will hopefully take me to soaring heights.
