The best thing about my school is that it's in Hawaii. The dorms are set up right in the middle of Waikiki, which is great for tourist. The dorms are within walking distance of the strip, as well as food, and of course the beach. Everything else is easy to get to via the bus, so I can easily get to the mall, movie theatres, zoo, aquarium, and more. The bus pass can be purchased at HPU for a very low price to make things even easier.
The best thing about my school is that the classes are small. Students can get the one on one attention they need from the instructors. With small classes, students can focus more in classes. Having smaller classes also helps those students who might need extra help in the class. The instructors knows the student which makes it easier for student to seek the needed help.
Hawaii Pacific University is very culturally diverse. There are students from all parts of the world and from countries I have never heard of. It is great to meet people from different places because it allows me to understand and see cultures from a different perspective. The faculty is also very supportive in making the students reach their fullest potential.
Being able to talk to people from other places in the US. The reason why I like this is because they teach you a lot about some common knowledge things that you may have not have known. It's also great to have people to help you when you need it. As long as you have a good attitude, you'll guarenteed to make great friends at this school.
The best thing about Hawai'i Pacific University is the proficient atmosphere. There are no extraneous classes one needs to take, and the classes one chooses to take go hand in hand with one's major. I dreamed of attending HPU for it's terrific Marine Bio course and now that I'm attending the class I know I made the right choice.
ethnic and racial diversity would be one of the best things about my school because you learn about different cultures from people you meet. They give other students an outlook on how things are in thier country, compared to the United States.
I really enjoy the fact that there's so many students from all over. I grew up in a military family so I am used to being around the whole diversity scene.
The best thing about my school is the friednly students who are the most kindest people and the nicest people you will ever meet.
The class sizes are small so you can get to know the teacher. This forces everyone in the class to understand the material.
The best thing about my school is that it is located close to home, thereby making it very convenient for me.
