I attend Heidelberg's Arrowhead campus in Maumee which is incredibly small with very few class options, no tutors, no library, no weekend hours to use the computer lab, etc. Almost every class is accelerated so that a new term begins every 8 weeks. I do not recommend attending here if you do not have a reliable computer with Internet, cannot work well independently, need tutoring, or are unable to focus much time and energy on the classes because it is a lot of work in a short amount of time.
The kind of person who should not attend this school is someone who is not serious about graduating with a degree. Heidelberg takes education very seriously and if you do not meet the requirements asked of you, you will not graduate in four years or you will be kick out for not keeping up your grades. Heidelberg encourages students to strive for the best and work hard, they expect their students to attend class and to do the assigned work. To others this may seem like a lot but Heidelberg is looking out for the students!
Anyone who likes to party excessively should not attend Heidelberg.
A person that always requires something to entertain them or needing a city enviorment and a lot of people. Here you build really close friends and the campus requires you to be creative for entertainment.
There is not any type of person that shouldn't atten Heidelberg. There are alot of different types of people that go here, and there is a person for everyone to hang out with that is just like you.
Any person who is an individual and wants to have his or her beliefs mean something. You are important and you will walk away from this experience believing you can accomplish anything. Eventhough change is constant and sometimes uncomfortable, I can guarentee you that this change in your life will be for the better if you embrace it. This is a fantastic life experience.
The kind of person that should not attend this school is someone that thinks of college as somewhere just to part and get away from the family. That is definitely not what this school is all about. Students have to work hard in order to keep their GPA up. College is not all about the social life and more people need to understand this.
some who wants to go to a big school in the city..
If you want to spend your free time only partying and don't make time for study, then this might not be the place for you.
People shouldn't attend this school if they expect to be able to coast by with minimal work effort. They also shouldn't attend if they are opposed to other ethnic groups. While we have a lot of locals (middle-classed farmers and small town people) we also have a lot of people come in from the inner cities, and it can give some people culture shock. We have many Asian students who are new to the country, and are working on having more appeal overseas. So people who are racist and/or extremely bigoted probably wouldn't like us.
One not willing to do the work required and one who does not care about their education.
Someone who is looking for a larger school or a very specific major that we don't offer.
