As a tour guide, I always told the people on my tours the worst things about my school was the wind. I wasn't lying. The thing that annoyed me the most was when it would be so incredibly windy.

Extreme amounts of students flashing thier parents money around, and a lack of understanding of what it is like to be "different" in significant #s of students.. it takes the focus off of what we should be doing in school if kids are too busy spending mom and dad's cash at the bar. There is also a lack of socio-economic as well as racial diversity at this school.

Drug use and alcohol abuse in the middle of a boring, isolated, town... with few bars and nothing to do on the weekends.

Not as diverse as it could be.

The worst thing about the school was the amount of cliques on campus, it would be nice if all the groups were intertwined. There were also a lot of students with a lot of money that attended HWS, and they felt like the school owed them.

The housing process can be difficult, sometimes student complaints aren't resolved, etc.

Lack of things to do outside the school. If you were to go to city school, there'd be plenty of bars, clubs, shows, and other interesting things to see and do. Because of our location we're not left with much else to do but drink, party, and study, not that that's a bad thing.

Some students are admitted merely due to legacy.

A lot of drinking goes on so if you're not cool with that it can be hard to find people to hang out with. It is possible, but it just takes a longer time, and I felt very lonely at the beginning of freshman year.

Very little ethnic and racial diversity.
