The best and worst parts of the social scene at Howard University

So many songs talk about Howard Girls and it really ads fuel to the fashion fire. Howard is a fashion run way, if your hair isn't done, find a hat or something to make it work, because you will feel very uncomfortable and out of place. This is a good and a bad thing. Its good because the way you present yourself is oh so important. You should always walk into life with your best foot forward and waking up in the morning knowing that you want to look your best. Its bad, because when your having one of those moments (and I can't lie, this semester has been one of my moments) and you know you're at your worst, you can't let the pressure get to you. You have to still remember who you are and what your real purpose here is. The competition gets real, but you have to remember that even if your the best at Howard, you may not be the best at life.
