Describe a day on campus you'll never forget.

I will never forget the day I was wearing my new pink boots that I had received as a Christmas present. I was completely caught off guard when I heard someone say "Those are some nice looking boots Alyson." I turned around to see that President Axel Steuer was the one commenting on my boots. This is one of the many unique things that comes with being at a small school. Not only do you have interaction with everyone (including the president), but they are also very friendly. That day was definitely a reassuring day as to why I chose a small school, but more importantly why I chose Illinois College.

I'll never forget during my sophomore year when the campus was shut down for two days due to a blizzard. I had all this free time to catch up on homework, but when I got tired of that, I went and hung out with my friends or went out in the snow.
