What I wished I had known before i attended IVCC, would have to be my life purpose.
I wish somebody would have told me that in order to get out in two years I need to take more than 12 credits a semester. Luckily, in my position, I could only take 12 and still get out in two years. But, for a majority of the people that go there, they stay more than two years because they don't have enough credits.
Before I had gone to IVCC, I wish I would have known that the rooms numbered in the 300s were on the top floor, and the rooms numbered in the 200s were on the bottom floor. I had to figure that out on my own.
Before I came to Illinois Valley Community College, I wish i would have known that the classroom numbers are not in order and that the girls bathroom is all the way upstairs. It is confusing trying to find your class on your first day and you often get lost and you should go to the bathroom before shool to save you time.
