Indian River State College Top Questions

I wish I had know how to start sooner. I moved from Ohio to Florida and had to waita year in order to become and in-state student or so i thought. I only reason I was able to start before my year was up was because I worked in the education field and they made exceptions to those who worked in that field. I wasted around 8months

Before walking into class on my very first day of college, I wish I was informed more on the style of teaching. College is a whole different ball game compaired to high school. College is more demanding in the sense that the teachers want to know you understand and will go out of their way to help you understand if you are unsure of something. I also wish someone had told more about the program I am looking into, as I have been misguided with information since I dreamed of being a Nurse.

I wish I had known there was only a limited number of Anthropology courses and one one guy teaching them at the Main Campus.

The one thing that I wish I had known before I came to college was to give it a 100%. A lackluster academic career dosnt pay-off and hard work as well as dedication are the key factors for sucess.

I wish that I would have known all of the different realistic expenses that would come from buying books, gas, food, and other things that are needed to get through the day. I also wish that I would have been better prepared by my high school teachers for what was to really come when I reached Indian River State College.

I wish I had known how my school has excelled in technology and how it has helped this community acquire qualified employees. I would have planned to go back to school much sooner.

That it wouldn't be like high school.

I would have to say that I knew what I was going into from the beginning. I have no regrets going to this school and nothing I would change about it!

I enjoy the college I go to, and lots of people have attended and told me what to expect.
