Before i came to this school, I wish I woud have known that this school is a for-profit private school.
I think I knew everything I needed to know before coming, the admissions office does a good job when they give out school information. The only thing I didn't know was the fact that we don't have a football team, but that wasn't really a big deal to me.
Even with the transfer from high school to college, there is nothing that i wish i have known before coming to college. if i had to it all over again, i wouldnt change a thing.
I by nature procrastinate way too much. One thing I should have worked on in high school was my time management. I was always finishing assignments at the last second, but I was able to get away with it. My freshmen year of college was a wake-up call. Trying to balance school, practice, and work was not an easy adjustment. I learned to tackle tasks step by step, right as they came my way, that way I was not rushing to finish assignments, or cramming for tests the night before.
I wish I had better educated myself to the financial assistance available prior to attending school.
I really wish I had explored and researched all the different areas of studies that were offered at the school. I also wish someone had explained the different opportunities for obtaining financial assistance that were available. There were also many extra activities that were available to students that I did not know about that I could have taken advantage of. The most important thing I wish I had know is how caring the staff is and how willing they are to go the extra mile to help every student reach their educational goals.
