The sense of community at Indiana State University is unparalleled and far superior than that of any other campus that I have visited. Indiana State University excels in bringing people from very different walks of life together and making all of the students feel as though they are a part of a family. My favorite example of this is from my first week of classes at Indiana State University. Ahead of me, I saw a fellow student trip. Other students didn't just walk by or laugh, but instead helped her up and brushed her off. We're a family.

Everyone at Indiana State wants you to suceed. The professors and even the other students are very supportive of everyone. Indiana State is a great place to learn to be out on your own and to help you get prepared for life after school.

How easy it is to be successful. When you want to have fun or have a break from school you can, but when you want to study or worried about how to pay for college or any problems at all , they have resources all over and people who are ready to help you. It's not hard at all to find help or even an adult who you just want to talk to.

I haven't bragged too much about ISU. I got my associate degree at Ivy Tech Community college. I actually liked the atmosphere there much better than ISU, people were much more willing to help out with scheduling classes and such. The classes haven't been too difficult at ISU though, I guess that is one good point.

I tell them that my school has a diverse catalog of classes and staff that are willing to help anyone that needs it. The University also offers many recreational activites and seminars for students and the community to take part in, that range from being educational to simply activites that bring students together. The University also offers a heath clinic where nurses and staff are ready to assist you when needed.

Indiana State offers so many opportunities that I may not have had before. Our school spirit is great, and no matter how homesick I am, there is always someone to talk to.

The thing that I will brag most about my university are the relationships that a student is able to build with staff and faculty. With the student body size being roughly 10,000, many of the classrooms allow each student to have a personal relationship with professors and not be known by just a number. Having classroom sizes like this can really enhance a students learning ability at a college or university.

There are so many different types of groups and people, there is something for everyone. There are intermural sports, theater and music programs, religious clubs and volunteer opportunities, as well as a lot of other things.

The teachers are very friendly and very enthusiastic about their teaching.

That my largest class that I have been in is 50 people and that I get to pick what time and day my classes are on because we get to set our schedules.

The campus itself is nice and clean; it is a good looking campus during the fall, spring, and summer. Everything is within walking distance and there is no need for a campus shuttle to get you around to your classes. The cafeterias on campus are buffet-style and you can get as much as you want. The student population is a decent size; I am glad that it is not too small, but i think it could be bigger.

My Fraternity

I love that Indiana State University has many internships avaliable to juniors and seniors. Almost all gradutes are offered jobs before they graduate.

I like to brag about all the research we are doing here. We are very advanced, especially in the science department. Also the beauty of campus.

I believe that the campus of Indiana State University has improved over the last few years. The landscape of the college has been improved, thanks to landscape specialists and horticulturalists. I know, especially since moving onto campus this year, that I.S.U. offers a lot of extracurricular opportunities to the students. There are many ways to get involved on campus and to learn. Also, the professors are fun and exciting and bring a lot of knowledge to the classroom. They are professionals in the field and offer exciting facts and trivia from their fields.
