Indiana State University Top Questions

Someone who wants big classes. Some of the lectures are larger, but many of my classes are fairly small.

Every person should attend this school , but its hard to recieve awards for finacial aid to go here. thta's why I'm searching for scholarships to finish my bachelors degree and then move on.

A person should not attend this school if they're interested in campus life, but don't have a lot of money to pay for it. It is impossible to enjoy the majority of what the school provides if your parents aren't paying for it, and if you're on your own, because everything's expensive. A student should also not attend this school if they're looking for a strong academic push.

The kind of person who should not attend this school would be someone who, essentially, would only be interested in going to parties and engaging in less than ideal situations.

Students who are looking to barely get by should not attend this university.

Anyone can attend this school, there is something for everyone.

A person who doesn't like a small community or the idea of intimate classroom settings should not attend ISU.

A person who is wanting the experience of a typical college town. This school is considered a "suitcase college" so a lot of people go home on the weekends. This results in very little to do on campus and in the town of Terre Haute. This school is NOT for someone who is very social and wants to attend many social gatherings, and athletic activities.

A person who is not motivated to continue his or her education should not attend this school. Also, a person who is not socially motivated should not attend this school.

I think that anyone should attend this school. I see alot of different types of people in the school and community.

I believe that this school has a spot for every type of person no matter what kind of background they come from. This school seems to be a little lower class so I would say if you are wanting a really strong educational background because you are wanting to be high up in your career, I would say to try to find a little higher level school.

You should not attend this school if you are looking for extremely large class sizes or want to be in a large city.

ISU is a fairly big school, but is not for someone who wants a very large university. Prospectives must keep in mind that the school has just over 10,000 students, not 50,000.

This is a great school. I would say the only people that shouldn't go here are those that want the life of a large college or a real small college.

A person not committed to getting a higher education should not attend Indiana State. A person who does not want to continue their education further than high school should not attend ISU. A person who does not want or need a degree to pursue the career they want and would enjoy should not attend my school.

Someone who enjoys a small campus feel will love ISU. It's a treasure trove of great students, teachers, and administrators. ISU is underestimated and from my perspective has just as much to offer as any of the other Big Ten schools like IU or Purdue. From my experience here, the class sizes are usually small and can accomadate those with disabilities. The professors are engaging and understanding. I have really enjoyed my schooling here and have been very impressed with the amount of support that is given from the faculty as well.

Someone who is not willing to do homework and go to class should not attend this school.

Most students are still in shock from being away from their parents. Who wouldn?t enjoy waking up late for afternnoon classes? However, if graduation is not at the forefront of your mind, maybe ISU is not for you. ISU offers many great opportunities for students from all walks of life. It offers the possibility of you achieving your academic and career goals. So, take advantage of all that is given. No matter if it's a free t-shirt, or a teacher staying late to help you, make the most of your experience.

I person who like big campuses

People that should not attend Indiana State University would most likely think that they can get away with drinking or drugs on campus. Last year an up and coming athlete and three other people was arrested for pocession after a search of his dorm room. Also if they are not responsible to become a self-starter it probably isn't a good idea to come. You have to be on time, ready and willing to learn if you want to be successful at Indiana State.

A person who doesn't love to meet new people and have a good time

Someone who REALLY wants to learn should not attend, most likely.

Probably a person wanting to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer, would not attend this school.

Someone who is unfocused and only wants to party.
