For those who have even heard of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, it is known as a "party school," and the students are just here strictly for the party. No one cares about learning here; we just want to get drunk and pee in public so we can be put in the violations section feature in The Penn every Tuesday and Friday.

IUP is seen as a party school. When I say I go to IUP, I get a look that says something like, "Oh...so you drink a lot of alcohol..." IUP students are also stereotyped as lazy and not ambitious, and IUP doesn’t have the best reputation for the integrity of its academic programs.
