The wifi. It's so unreliable. It will be great for a couple of days and then we're experiencing malfunctions and we need the wifi to access our homework.

The worst thing about my college would have to be the parking. There are only two parking lots designated to commuters, which I am one, and if we park in a resident lot, we will get a ticket. There are four lots designated for residents but only two for commuters. It is a pain finding a parking spot on campus. Plus, there is no where around the school to park.

In my major there are alot of extra class needed to complete my degree. I have looked at other schools that are related to IU and many do not require most of the extra class. For example the need for extra chemistry classes, me personally i am not as well in chemistry so in my case it fustrates me. This is difficult for me, but i have to do what i have to do.

The financial aid office is difficult to deal with and there are not enough Graduate programs.

Most students don't spend a lot of time on campus. Many people drive there, go to class, then drive home. There isn't even a school cafeteria.

The remote location. Even though Fort Wayne is not that far from several major cities, it still feels like a small town and like it's containted within its own bubble. Not many people live on campus, most live closeby or at home, so there isn't that much of a social life going on, even though there are events around campus all the time.

The laziness and lack of care for the students success is by far the worst thing about my school.

The worst aspect of my school comes in the form of the campus security which is overly zealous in regulating campus decorum when distributing parking and other traffic regulations.

Like most colleges, the school operates like a business instead of a traditional university. In 2006, the student body government was awarded over $1 million for the school year, but only $56,000 of it went to the school's only tutoring program (CASA). I would consider the worst thing about this school to be the idea that the students are customers, i.e. a dollar sign.

The thing I would consider to be worst at my school is that sometimes you can be overwhelmed with the activities you may want to participate in but can't because of time that needs to be committed to school work or a part-time job.

I think the worst thing about our school is the fact that there are no dining halls. There are restaurants within the campus that are national and local chains, but there are no food plans available. They have plans to add one in the neat future, though.

This college is also making huge changes for advancement, which increases the stress of the faculty. In the nursing department where I am studying, the faculty and staff seem overwhelmed and may have a higher student to staff ratio than most schools. Some of the changes that have been demanding on the staff include removing all associate degrees in order to make room for mastor's degrees. Although this is extremely positive, it can be discouraging to study in a program that is dealing with a lot of trials and errors.

Most people at the school are from the area, so there's not a very diverse population. Once school hours are over, the campus is dead.

Not a whole lot of people care about sports or school spirit because it's community college. The parking sucks for the first few weeks of the semester and the end of the semester. The amount Gen. Ed. sucks but that's probably every college...It doesn't have meal plans or anything because it is a community college too. I don't think there is a lot of partying on campus, but I don't live in campus housing so I could be wrong.

It is a huge commutor college, so if one wants to get involved they have to go in search of it, people are not just walking around all day with flyers and booths set up for you to sign up for clubs.

The worst thing about IPFW is definately the social environment. IPFW has a lot of students enrolled that have grown up in the area and most of the students that interact went to the same high school or have met prior to IPFW. It has become known that IPFW isn't the most social campus around. The school provides a few opportunities but most students don't usually get involved or are busy working. It tends to be a very quiet campus.
