What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Victoria

The most frustrating thing I feel is how the administration is not really there for their students. The first time I went in to schedule my classes went great, however after that everything went downhill. I tried emailing my advisor several times and did not get word back from them so I decided to call. I was able to reach someone once other times their phone was too busy. Each time I went in to visit my advisor he was too busy. Therefore I went exploratory that way I had someone to talk to.

The classes aren't challenging enough. The proffessors tend to underestimate the intelligence of the students. They teach elementary concepts as if they were explaining it to the student for the first time.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not adequately expressing my concerns over classes to my advisors or they are not understanding me. I did express a desire to take a lower level class this semester to refresh my writing skills as it has been over ten years since I was las in a writing class and my advisor would not allow me to do that. I have two classes that will require extensive writing this semester and now I am feeling very overwhelmed and ilequipped for them.
