Ulises - 12/03/2019

I thinks it is very interesting because most of the books for the courses are in English but the professors speak Spanish and the class presentations are in Spanish. I feel that this is helpful because I will be using my Spanish in the work force. At first it was very difficult but because I have spoken Spanish almost all my life it felt like an ability I had just not practiced. But I think it is nice they merge the languages in one class. They also have a great online program, they have campuses all throughout the island and cyber campuses in New Jersey and Florida.

Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla is 46%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could give myself any advice it would have been to put more effort in my high school grades. I tried very hard to achieve a good GPA but not hard enough. I would tell myself "never give up" and continue to try because it truly DOES MATTER. If I would have given just a bit more effort i would have been more accustomed to college lifestyle and maintaining these grades. I believe as teenagers in highschool we are pressured to achieve high scores, so when we reach college we tend to get lazy because we cannot handle it anymore. In my case, I felt that way since high school and still feel this way now during college. I would give myself tips on how not to procrastinate and to take better notes and to ultimately give it my one thousand percent. During my senior year I would have tried harder on my SAT's because I now realize the true importance of good grades and the satisfaction of achieving an A plus. I do not regret this because I believe it has created a responsibility that was not there. I see my grades improving and this pleases me.

People who are not prepared to do their best and strive for a career should not attend this school. I say this with full honesty because in my College they prepare us for an actual career, not just an education. If you are not willing to give your maximum effort you will not achieve your goals anywhere much less with proffessors whom push us to reach our full potential.
